Biography

Alyssa Pomponio (she/her) joined Student Legal Services in May 2020. She received her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2012, and is admitted to practice law in Iowa, Washington, and California. Alyssa previously worked as a public defender and civil legal aid attorney in Washington state, and helped coordinate the University of Iowa’s Title IX response. She is passionate about sex worker advocacy and is trained in restorative justice and mediation. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys playing with her dog, doing ceramics, and hiking.
